Screenings ---------------------------------- 1. New face at mec film Sabina Rolle is heading the new Berlin office of mec film since mid-April Sabina studied Audio-Visual Media Studies at HFF film school in Potsdam and Political Science Freie Universitaet Berlin. She worked at Sehsuechte International Student Film Festival as well as at Jetfilm Distribution and gathered experiences in cross-media PR at different Berlin companies. In 2004 Sabina co-organized Perspektiven-Kongress for a humane Globalization, held by Trade Unions and NGOs. She is teaching Cultural Studies (media and gender) at Humbold-University Berlin. --------------------------------- 2. ALPHA in Competition at Hamburg International Short Film Festival New experimental short film ALPHA by Dana Goldberg (Israel 2007) will have it's World Premiere at Hamburg International Short Film Festival (6.-11.6.2007) Content The final minutes of an intimate night between two women. One is fifty years old and the other is twenty three. What seems to be a fragile promise of harmony brings about the relationship’s demise. LIKE TWENTY IMPOSSIBLES after four years still running at festivals Annemarie Jacir's award winning short film LIKE TWENTY IMPOSSIBLES (2003) is still showing at international film festivals.
