In their new book Poets, Chronicler, Rebells. Portraits of International Documentary Filmmakers (German only) Verena Teissl and Volker Kull edited portraits of 29 internationally renowned documentary filmmakers. Irit Neidhardt, director of mec film, introduces the works of Palestinian filmmakers Michel Khleifi as well as Hany Abu Assad in texts and interviews.
