1. Iraqi TV-stations acquire rights of Women in the Sun
For the New democracies TV documentary festival in Iraq al-Iraqia, al-Sumeria and Kurdistan TV acquired broadcast rights of Sobhi al-Zobaidi's Women in the Sun. Five stations take part in the festival during the months September and October which presents Arab documentary films that deal with processes of democratisation. Women in the Sun deals with Women Model Parliaments in Palestine in the late 1990s.

2. Coming Soon!  My Dreamhouse by Ran Tal
mec film acquired the World Sales rights of award winning documentary MY DREAMHOUSE by Ran Tal.
Four families, four stories, and four houses make it possible to discuss the ideal House as a concept, as a memory and maybe as a kind of solution. The construction of the house forces the builders to deal with their identity, with their past and with the strange hope that the house will make everything warmer, and safer.

3. Focus: Tawfik Abu Wael at Festival dos cinemas do Mediterrâneo
The new Mediterranean Film Festival in Tavira/Portugal presents in its first edition a focus on the works by Tawfik Abu Wael. The focus includes Diary of a Male Whore and Waiting for Sallah el-Din as well as ATASH which is shown in the feature film competition.
