Tawfik Abu Wael's award winning ATASH was celebrated by the German press. Also the Israeli press praises Abu Wael. ATASH opened in theatres in Palestine/Israel last week.

Due to continues demand for the documentary on Palestinian and Israeli children from Jerusalem mec film renewed the theatrical licence (German rights only) for award winning PROMISES by BZ Goldberg, Justine Shapiro and Carlos Bolado.

4. RANA'S WEDDING - DVD release
mec film licensed Berlin based absolut medien for DVD release of Hany Abu Assad's RANA'S WEDDING - Jerusalem another Day. The German release is planned for June 2005.
