1. German public TV acquires broadcast rights for RANA’S WEDDING
WDR German public TV acquired broadcast rights for Hany Abu-Assad’s RANA’S WEDDING. The film will be aired in a mini-series with two or three more films from the Middle East.

2. DVD – release of RANA’S WEDDING in Germany mid-June
DVD editor absolut medien in Berlin acquired the DVD/Video rights of RANA’S WEDING and will release the German version of the DVD on June 20th. More info in German only

3. Two Awards for LIKE TWENTY IMPOSSIBLES at Lenolafilmfestival in Italy
Annemarie Jacir’s short film LIKE TWENTY IMPOSSIBLES took two more awards at Lenolafilmfestival in Italy. This time in the category BEST FILM the second prize as well as the prize for the BEST SCREENWRITING.

4. DVD delivery to US within 7 days
Due to increasing demand from the US we have to following DVDs in NTSC-format in stock now: DIARY OF A MALE WHORE (Tawfik Abu Wael, Palestine 2001), THE BLACK PANTHERS (IN ISRAEL) SPEAK (Eli Hamo and Sami Shalom Shetrit, Israel 2003), WAITING FOR SALLAH EL-DIN (Tawfik Abu Wael, Palestine 2001) and LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL (Sobhi al-Zobaidi, Palestine 2001).
DVDs on stock can be delivered to the US within 7 days. All other DVDs on demand will be delivered within two to three weeks.
