1. THE ONE MAN VILLAGE wins Rotterdam, honored in Mexico and Kosovo and more info
We are proud to announce that Simon El Habre’s THE ONE MAN VILLAGE was awarded with the Silver Hawk for 2nd best Documentary at Arab Film festival in Rotterdam for “its evocation of the larger issues of war and peace in Lebanon through the portrayal of the life of a single man left behind in a village and for the simple and beautiful cinematic language which sustains it.”
The International Jury of Expresión en Corto in Mexico honored the film as follows: “The jury wanted to acknowledge the poignant visual style of this intimate portrait of a One Man Village.”
Another Honorable Mention was given to THE ONE MAN VILLAGE at Dokufest Prizren in Kosovo earlier this month.

- International Documentary Festival Vilnius (Latvia)

EBS TV in South Korea acquired the TV rights for THE ONE MAN VILLAGE.
Theatrically the film will be released in Lebanon and in Germany in September.
