4. YEAR ZERO at special art-house screenings during Berlinale
Joseph Pitchhadze’s Year Zero will be presented at German art-house fair special screenings during Berlinale. The screenings are addressed to theatre programmers and press.

5. Tour with Ayelet Bechar’s JUST MARRIED
mec film organized a Tour in Germany with Ayelet Bechar’s award winning documentary Just Married for April/May 2006. The director and Kifah Mersawi, one of the protagonists of the film, will be present at screenings and have Q&A about the film.

Short synopsis:
Two fearless and resilient Palestinian women, during their first year of marriage, face a cruel reality: a new law forbids Palestinians who marry Israeli citizens to live in Israel.
This is not only their personal story, but also the story of thousands of couples denied their most basic right - the right to love.
